Maple Grove Backyard Courts Call

Privacy Notice

Related: Vendor disclosure — how leads from this site route to a local Maple Grove court installer, and the rank-and-rent business model behind it. The two pages are paired; this one focuses on personal-data handling.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form or call the phone number on this site, we collect a small set of contact details and a few automatic technical fields:

From the form (what you give us):

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email (optional)
  • ZIP code (optional)
  • Service requested (pickleball court, multi-sport court, putting green, basketball court, batting cage)
  • Preferred project window (optional, free text)
  • Free-text message describing your project

Collected automatically when the form is submitted:

  • Page URL the form was submitted from
  • Referring URL (where you came from, if any)
  • UTM parameters present in the page URL (campaign tracking)
  • A one-way hash of your browser’s user-agent string (we do not store the raw user-agent)
  • Country code derived from your IP address (we do not store your IP address itself — see “What we deliberately do not collect” below)
  • Timestamp of the submission
  • A bot-protection token from Cloudflare Turnstile, used only at submission time and not retained

From phone calls (when you call the number on this site):

  • Call timestamp, duration, and originating area code, via the Twilio call-routing log
  • Your phone number, used by the partnered installer to call you back

We do not record phone calls. Minnesota is a one-party-consent state under Minn. Stat. § 626A.02 — even where recording would be lawful, we don’t do it.

Site-wide analytics:

  • Aggregated page-view and traffic-source counts via Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not store information that identifies you individually.

How we use it

The contact information you give us is used for one purpose: to forward your request to the local Maple Grove court installer we work with, so they can call or email you back, schedule a site survey, and quote your project.

The automatic fields (page URL, referrer, UTM, user-agent hash, country code) help us understand which pages and channels actually generate leads, so we can keep improving the site.

We do not use any of this information for retargeting advertising, profile-building, or sale to data brokers.

Who we share it with

  • The partnered installer. Your name, phone, email, ZIP, service, preferred window, and message are forwarded to the single Maple Grove-area court installer currently fielding leads from this site. They are the operator who performs the work. See vendor disclosure for the rank-and-rent model in full.
  • Service providers we use to run the site. Cloudflare (hosting, DNS, bot protection, cookieless analytics), Twilio (call routing + transactional SMS notification), Resend (transactional email notification to us and to the partnered installer). Each is bound by its own terms; none is given your information for marketing use.
  • No one else. We do not sell your contact information. We do not share it with advertising networks, lead aggregators, or marketing-data brokers.

How long we keep it

Form submissions are stored in our Cloudflare D1 database for up to 13 months, then deleted. The 13-month window covers the longest seasonal-recall pattern we expect (e.g., a homeowner who reached out last fall and wants to circle back next spring before install season opens).

Call metadata logged by Twilio follows Twilio’s default retention. We do not extract or warehouse it.

When the partnered installer changes, the new installer does not receive prior submissions — those records stay with us and continue to age out under the 13-month rule.

Your choices

  • Request deletion. Email the address in “Contact” below and ask us to delete the submission tied to your name and phone. We delete within 30 days and confirm by reply.
  • Opt out of follow-up. Tell the partnered installer directly, or email us and we’ll remove your record from the active routing list.
  • Update your information. Same channel — email us with the correction.

We do not maintain a mailing list, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.

Cookies and tracking

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics: cookieless. No tracking pixel sets a cookie on your browser.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: issues a short-lived session token at form-submit time to block automated bots. The token is not a tracking cookie and is not retained after the submission is processed. Turnstile runs under the legitimate-interest basis (preventing fraud and abuse) and does not require a cookie banner.
  • No third-party ad pixels. No Facebook Pixel, Google Ads conversion tag, retargeting tag, or marketing-data-broker tag is installed on this site.
  • Cloudflare infrastructure cookies: Cloudflare may set first-party security cookies (e.g., __cf_bm) when it detects bot-like activity. These are operational, not advertising, and we do not control them.

What we deliberately do not collect

This list is the inverse of the inventory above:

  • Raw IP address. Your IP is consulted only to enforce a short-window rate limit; it is never written to our database. The country code derived from it is the only IP-linked field we retain on the submission record.
  • Raw user-agent string. We compute a one-way hash at submission time and store only the hash.
  • Geolocation beyond country code. No latitude/longitude, no city-level IP geolocation, no precise location.
  • Browser fingerprint. No canvas fingerprinting, no font fingerprinting, no audio fingerprinting.
  • Call recordings. Twilio’s recording feature is not enabled on the number used for this site.
  • Payment information. Payment is handled directly between you and the partnered installer; we do not see or process it.
  • Third-party advertising profile data. No pixel, no audience-export integration.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, email us at the address in “Contact” below and we’ll delete the record.

Updates to this policy

We update this page when we change what we collect or how we use it. The “last updated” date below changes when material changes are made. Because we do not maintain a mailing list, we cannot email you about updates — substantive changes will be noted on this page itself.

Contact

For privacy questions or deletion requests, email (privacy contact email pending Resend inbound configuration) or use the contact form. Service-related questions (about a project, a quote, scheduling) should go to the partnered installer — they’re the right contact for anything operational.
